Arrives in New Zealand
A new life in Aotearoa and a lasting connection with community begins.
PN Media / About
PN Media began with a belief that has shaped Kulwant Singh’s relationship with media for decades: language has the power to keep a community connected.
Founder
Kulwant Singh arrived in New Zealand in 1995, before today’s always-connected digital world. For migrant communities building new lives thousands of kilometres from home, radio was more than entertainment: it was a familiar voice, a source of information and a connection to language, faith and community.
Over the years, Kulwant became involved in Punjabi broadcasting and Gurbani programming, including work associated with Radio Tarana and, based on information supplied by the founder, Radio Spice. PN Media carries that journey into a new generation.
A journey
A new life in Aotearoa and a lasting connection with community begins.
A familiar voice connecting language, faith and daily life.
The same commitment, now expressed through a bilingual digital publication.
What guides us
Facts before speed.
News should be understandable regardless of language.
Stories should reflect the communities they serve.
Editorial decisions stay separate from commercial influence.
